Skamps Pre-school Day Nursery Bedworth offers through the day, a choice of healthy food to eat during snack time around 9.30am and 1.30pm consisting of a choice of at least 2 healthy snacks.
Milk is provided free of charge for 1/3rd of a pint of milk per day per child, water is available too and sometimes we may even have a cheeky hot chocolate - especially when coming back from the park or outside play.
Water is available throughout the day via the water bottles brought in from home.
Snack - 79p voluntary contribution per snack to provide a range of healthy snack foods
Morning snack 9.30am
Hot dinner at lunchtime 11.15am to 12.15pm or packed lunch brought in from home
Afternoon snack 1.45pm
All allergies and intolerances are catered for - from milk allergies to the milk ladder - peanuts to sesame seeds.

Fresh fruit and vegetables can be:
carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes – cut in half, pineapple, cucumber sticks, grapes – cut in half, bananas, apples, oranges, plums, pears, strawberries, nectarines and other seasonal fruit and veg with low fat cheese and chive dip
For those stopping for lunch we have a ‘What goes into a healthy lunchbox’ letter to encourage healthy eating which parents have found to be very useful. We do ask that all cherry tomatoes and grapes be cut in half to minimise choking hazards.
Lunch times - 11.15am to 12midday where children eat their packed lunch brought in from home.
We offer a range of dry healthy snacks for all ages. Babies up to 2 years have rice cakes, puffs, biscotti biscuits etc with milk.
Older children have breadsticks, cheese and crackers, cheese on toast, toast with jam, cheese spread, sultanas, cheerios, yoghurts/fromage frais or cheese biscuits also added are brioche rolls, waffles, pancakes, crumpets, malt loaf and the list goes on
Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 8am and ranges from porridge to cereals. Parents can provise this if they wish or we can provide it at £1.75 per breakfast
Hot dinners from 12 midday
Evening meal - from 4.00pm
