Since opening at the Methodist Church Hall on Wheelwright Lane in 1993 we have had many boys and girls pass though us on their way to 'Big' school. We have enjoyed all the colourful characters along the way and look forward to meeting our future children and help them grow and develop their individuality, working with parents and carers to help and support to nurture each child to reach their fullest potential.
Skamps Pre-school Day Nursery, Bedworth is based at St Andrews House, Smorrall Lane, Bedworth. We moved to our new premises in July 2014 after being at Wheelwright Lane School for 19 years. Our new premises is over 2 floors and boasts a sensory room, a redeveloped outside play area, soft cosy areas for the quieter and younger child with messy play areas upstairs and down, and lots more activities including the best ones – the spontaneous ones.
The ages of children we look after are Babies from 6 weeks to school age 4 years 11 months. Our ground floor caters for children aged 2-4 years old and upstairs is for babies up to 2 years of age. The children are grouped depending on their developmental stage.
We offer healthy snacks twice a day and lunch (brought in from home) for those children stopping all day – more information on this in the food and snacks tab
We are members of the Early Years Alliance and National Day Nurseries Association and get support, training and advice from them.
Skamps Pre-school Day Nursery Bedworth, has grown and adapted over the years to where it is now Skamps Pre-school Day Nursery following our move into full day care as from April 2016. We offer holiday care throughout the holidays, serve breakfast, morning snack, afternoon snack .
